Our research aims to understand how early life stress, adversity, and trauma affect mental health and wellbeing of children and families throughout their lives and across generations.
We are especially interested in better understanding and supporting families who face additional challenges, such as mental health difficulties, raising children with additional neurodevelopmental or chronic health care needs, and families experiencing violence and conflict. We work closely with health and social care services to make sure the treatments we develop address the needs of families.
