Behavioural activation for adolescents with mild-moderate intellectual disability and depression

This project explores the adaptation and evaluation of behavioural activation as a treatment for depression in adolescents with mild to moderate intellectual disability.

This project aims to:

1. adapt an existing treatment for depression in intellectual disability to be suitable for adolescents with Intellectual Disability,
2. comprehensively evaluate the feasibility of a treatment trial for depression in adolescents with mild to moderate Intellectual Disability, and
3. develop a framework for the adaptation/development and evaluation of psychological treatments for mental health problems in young people with Intellectual Disability.
