EDBridge is a new, multi-armed brief contact intervention program for teens at risk of suicide discharged from the emergency department and their parents/caregivers, consisting of a Beyond Now safety plan, a parent factsheet, and text message support.

EDBridge has been developed with lived experience input from clinicians, parents, and teens.

The current project aims to evaluate the use of text message support following discharge from the emergency department and understand teen and parent experiences of receiving these text messages.

This study is conducted in collaboration with Monash Children’s Hospital and Deakin University.
