At a glance
This project examines how different types of stressful and adverse experiences, as well as the timing of their occurrences, influences the developing brain.
It uses data from the Child to Adult Transitions Study, a unique longitudinal cohort that has annually measured various aspects of the social environment (e.g., family, peers, schools, neighbourhoods) in a contemporary sample of Australian youth since 2012.
